Bamako son wins the Rolex GP Dublin

Another victory for Albführen Iashin Sitte (s. Bamako de Muze) and Steve Guerdat. Having already claimed victory in the World Cup rounds in Leipzig and Helsinki earlier this year, they won the GP5* in Dublin last weekend. They also rode a double clear round in the Nations Cup, securing third place for the Swiss team. Romain Duguet was also part of the Swiss team, riding Hunger Games du Champ du Bois (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Germany finished fourth, with Daniel Deusser and Pepita van ’t Meulenhof (s. El Torreo de Muze) among their ranks.

London

Gudrun Patteet rode Sea Coast Qarvaljo d’Or (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) to ninth place in the GP5* in London, part of the Global Champions Tour. They also scored well in a 1.60m class, finishing just behind Pieter Devos (Primo DV, s. Vigo d’Arsouilles), who came third. Christian Ahlmann and Vivario JL Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) took third place over 1.45m. In the GP2*, ninth place went to Zayed Ali with Quirani van de Maltahoeve (s. El Torreo de Muze), who also finished third over 1.40m.

Opglabbeek

In the GP4* at Opglabbeek, Maverick (formerly Maurysito de Nuit Z, s. Mosito van het Hellehof) made his debut at 1.60m level. Ridden by David Will, this chestnut gelding finished fourth. Sophie Scott and Normandy GHP (s. Nabab de Rêve) took fourth place in a 1.55m class. At 1.50m level, victory went to Abdulrahman Alrajhi and Kiss-Me V/H BHH (s. Mosito van het Hellehof). In the same class, Emiliano Liberati took third place riding Aruba Island (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Ansgar Holtgers Jr won a ranking class on Kantibes (s. Scendro). Gert Jan Bruggink took third place in the same class with Vigalio SHO Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). Finally, in various 1.40m classes, we saw fine placings for Duarte Seabra on Leonardo (s. I’m Special de Muze), Axel Vandoorne on S&L Petruska vd Bisschop (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof) and David Will on DSP King George (s. Kasanova de la Pomme).

Samorin

Vincent Voorn and Eowyn de Goedereede Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) secured third place over 1.50m in Samorin. At the 1.40m level, there were good results for Enno Klaphake with NC Verso Red Wine (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). The GPU25, meanwhile, yielded a second-place finish for Sara Vingralkova riding Rock’n Roll MXL (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof).

Cervia

In Cervia, Italy, Giacomo Casadei once again made a name for himself with Rodania Ter Leydonck (s. Gino H) at 1.45m level. Paolo Adamo Zuvadelli and SM Moses CH (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) secured some top placings over 1.40m.

GP results

The GP2* in Saint Lô, France, saw Lucia Le Jeune Vizzini take fourth place with Lady Quinta PL (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). In the GP2* at Caledon, Carly Campbell-Cooper secured second place riding Active Spirit (formerly Plathina van ’t Ruytershof, s. Vigo d’Arsouilles).

Other results

At the CSI3* in Ocala, Sharn Wordley took fifth place in a 1.45m class on Brin d’Or de Haute Melen Z (s. Bamako de Muze). Finally, in Hof Redentin, Germany, Louis Le Grelle won a ranking class riding New Life van het Hellehof (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
